Started From The Bottom; Now We’re Here!

“…Where there is life, there is hope. Where there are hopes, there are dreams. Where there are vivid dreams repeated, they become goals. Goals become the action plans and game plans that winners dwell on in intricate detail, knowing that achievement is almost automatic when the goal becomes an inner commitment. The response to the challenges of life – PURPOSE – is the healing balm that enables each of us to face up to adversity and strife.”~Dennis Waitley

Sometimes we must go through the valley in order to climb to the top of the mountain. Figuratively speaking, the valley represents the beginning of thing or the start of a situation. While the top of mountain represents the achievement of that thing. Between these two representations, we often find obstacles, times of adversity, and difficulty. It is during these times, that we MUST keep in mind: That the END of a thing is always better than the beginning. {Ecclesiastes 7:8} I do realize that this is easier said than done.

But, here’s a little trick: Even before we start – we should begin with the end already in mind! In that way, we will realize that every obstacle, and adversity means that we are actually MOVING through the valley…and the more obstacles we face…the more we are MOVING up the mountain! In this sense, adversities are equal to purposeful movement. And as long as we are committed to end goal already in mind, we will make it to the top!

Then we can say, in the words of Drake “Started From The Bottom, Now We’re Here…”!

James 1:2-4(KJV)

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Romans 8:18 (KJV)

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
