Harmony in Loving-Kindness

WEEK 1: Making Our Kindness Right!

Day 3, April 6-7, 2015 [Psalm 119:17-24]
The energy of today is Harmony in Loving-Kindness. Just for today notice the beauty that is all around you.

~Karen Berg

Maintaining balance is sometimes a complex process and can be challenging….especially with the distractions that we are exposed to on a day-to-day bases. Today, we should focus on not overdoing nor undercut our kindness to others.

This takes prayer and acknowledging God before we engage in sharing loving-kindness in any form{Proverbs 3:6}. Even in facing tragedies of death or major accidents, challenges of mental illness or chronic health conditions…we should even see the beauty in these dynamic demands, and keep ourselves balanced.

Biblical Affirmation and Meditations For

DAY 3

Everyday after sundown, starting from the second evening of Passover – until the night before (what we call) Pentecost; the following blessing is recited just prior to stating the count of the Omer:

Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the Universe who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.

Today is Day 3 of the Omer.

After this blessing is affirmed and the count declared – it is tradition to recite this short prayer:

O Compassionate One! May Christ return for us the Service of the Temple to its Place, speedily and in Our time! AMEN.

STEP 4: Read, Meditate and Live (1)Karen Berg’s Quote above, and (2)The following Scriptures:

Scripture Verses For Day 3:

Leviticus 11:45 (NKJV) – For I am the Lord who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

Ephesians 4:20-24 (KJV)

20 But ye have not so learned Christ;

21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
