Humility in Discipline

WEEK 2: Increasing In Our Discernment!

Day 12, April 15-16, 2015     {Psalm 119:89-96}
Today is the energy of Humility in Discipline. Know that without the Creator there is nothing you can do. Today all day get out of the way and make room for the Light.

~Karen Berg

Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah)

It doesn’t matter if you’re Black, White, or Brown..male or female…Jew, Gentile,…etc. As we make room for the Light of God to come into our lives, let us also remember the lost of millions of lives, because of “our” own injustice and prejudice. Yes, I used the word “our” because it is the responsibility of all of Humanity to let in the Light and Love of God!

Prejudice is built on Judgement, the exact opposite of true discernment.  One way to describe the energy for today is, “Splendid Diversity”! When we consider our role as Human BEings – we will allow others to just “BE” and celebrate the diversity that God created within each and every one of us.

However, this takes a great amount of humility to put into practice. Today, let’s get out of Gods way. The position of God has already been applied for and assumed…so, our hatred, Judgements, and opinions of others and even ourselves – are not asked for nor even needed! Be Humble. Stay Humble…and JUST BE!

Certainly it was a splendid diversity of children, women and men who died in the Holocaust.  As we remember them today, we are grateful for their lives, their legacies and their example to make room for the Light of God!

Biblical Affirmation and Meditations For

DAY 12

Everyday after sundown, starting from the second evening of Passover – until the night before (what we call) Pentecost; the following blessing is recited just prior to stating the count of the Omer:

Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the Universe who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.

Today is Day 12 of the Omer.

After this blessing is affirmed and the count declared – it is tradition to recite this short prayer:

O Compassionate One! May Christ return for us the Service of the Temple to its Place, speedily and in Our time! AMEN.

STEP 4: Read, Meditate and Live (1)Karen Berg’s Quote above, and (2)The following Scriptures:

Scripture Verses For Day 12:

Ezra 6:22 (ESV) – And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy, for the Lord had made them joyful and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, so that he aided them in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

James 3:8-12 (KJV)

8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
