Foundation In Discipline

WEEK 2: Increasing In Our Discernment!

Day 13, April 16-17, 2015     {Psalm 119:97-104}
Today is the energy of Bonding in Discipline. Today share your realization from Day 11 with another person, devise a plan where you can help them to persevere, and they can help you keep going.

~Karen Berg

The Mishnah states: “The world stands upon three things: The Torah, Devotion to Service with Prayer and doing good deeds.” These form the foundation which guides our activities, and bond our State of Being(ACTION) with others we come in contact with.

Goals and dreams in life goals rely heavily on primary principles. In fact, this very blog and all of its contents are gearing toward that purpose: to share and teach authentic foundational biblical principles so that you have enhance not only your life, but that of your family/community structure, and your business. And not only today – but every day.

However, we must follow these principles with appropriate boundaries. It takes discipline, but it can and must be done. Today we should focus on how our spiritual paths rely on a strong foundation in every area of our lives whether they be: youth, health, happiness, love, power, wealth or success.

Biblical Affirmation and Meditations For

DAY 13

Everyday after sundown, starting from the second evening of Passover – until the night before (what we call) Pentecost; the following blessing is recited just prior to stating the count of the Omer:

Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the Universe who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.

Today is Day 13 of the Omer.

After this blessing is affirmed and the count declared – it is tradition to recite this short prayer:

O Compassionate One! May Christ return for us the Service of the Temple to its Place, speedily and in Our time! AMEN.

STEP 4: Read, Meditate and Live (1)Karen Berg’s Quote above, and (2)The following Scriptures:

Scripture Verses For Day 13:

Nehemiah 9:19-20 (NLT)

19 But in your great mercy you did not abandon them to die in the wilderness. The pillar of cloud still led them forward by day, and the pillar of fire showed them the way through the night.

20 You sent your good Spirit to instruct them, and you did not stop giving them manna from heaven or water for their thirst.

James 3:13-18 (ESV)

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.

14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth.

15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.

16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.

17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
