Loving-Kindness in Harmony!

WEEK 3: The Beauty In Balance!

Day 15, April 18-19, 2015     {Psalm 119:113-120}
Today is the energy of Loving-Kindness in Compassion; just for today pick one person in your life who could use your energy. All day long send them the energy of your love. See them surrounded by the light of mercy. Know with certainty that your genuine effort made a difference in their life and yours.

~Karen Berg

This third week of Counting the Omer focuses on the energies of harmony, balance and beauty. A Harmonious State of Being(ACTION) is like a lens that magnifies the beauty inherent in everything, and the dynamic balance that sustains everything.

Today, Loving-kindness serves as fuel for this ACTION. Imagine the flow of love as the source of balance and harmony in the world. We sense contact with God when we are in awe, encountering unexpected beauty, sweet harmony, and sudden tenderness. Just as Miriam the Prophetess gave the water of life to all who came near her, feeding their deepest needs, the flow of the Love of God enters our hearts and feeds our needs, perpetuating our own fundamental and unique harmonies.

Biblical Affirmation and Meditations For

DAY 15

Everyday after sundown, starting from the second evening of Passover – until the night before (what we call) Pentecost; the following blessing is recited just prior to stating the count of the Omer:

Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the Universe who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.

Today is Day 15 of the Omer.

STEP 2:

After this blessing is affirmed and the count declared – it is tradition to recite this short prayer:

O Compassionate One! May Christ return for us the Service of the Temple to its Place, speedily and in Our time! AMEN.

Job 19:25 (ESV) – For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.

1 Peter 3:7-12 (KJV)  {NOTE: Women may choose to read 1 Peter 3:1-6}

7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
