Compassion In Harmony

WEEK 3: The Beauty In Balance!

Day 17, April 20-21, 2015     {Psalm 119:129-136}
Today is the energy of Compassion in Compassion; in order for there to be true peace in the world, we need to sit across from our enemy and see that they too are valid in their thoughts. Just for today understand their position. Feel their pain. How can you change yourself to transform the situation from judgment to mercy?

~Karen Berg

One of my favorite quotes is: “Your perception of me is a reflection of you. My reaction to you is an awareness of me. I’m only responsible for my awareness; not your perceptions” by Dr.Dosanjh

Today if we are to be in Harmony with God, the Universe and those around us – WE MUST refrain from judging others – especially when we don’t understand their situation. In Matthew 7:3-5 didn’t necessarily tell us “not” to judge…but “how to judge” — as he states in John 7:24, “…judge righteous judgment.”

For us to judge properly we must – First take the log out of our own eye, and then we will see clearly enough to take the speck out of the eye of another…in other words, have a little compassion for other peoples’ situation…because in essence what you’re really judging and observing: IS YOU!!

Biblical Affirmation and Meditations For

DAY 17

Everyday after sundown, starting from the second evening of Passover – until the night before (what we call) Pentecost; the following blessing is recited just prior to stating the count of the Omer:

Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the Universe who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.

Today is Day 17 of the Omer.

After this blessing is affirmed and the count declared – it is tradition to recite this short prayer:

O Compassionate One! May Christ return for us the Service of the Temple to its Place, speedily and in Our time! AMEN.

STEP 4: Read, Meditate and Live (1)Karen Berg’s Quote above, and (2)The following Scriptures:

Scripture Verses For Day 17:

Proverbs 3:5-6 (ASV)

5 Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding:

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he will direct thy paths.

1 Peter 5:5-7 (KJV)

5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
