On Rosh Hashanah it is written…on Yom Kippur it is Sealed!!
Revelation 2:5 (KJV) – Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
The above scripture, may sound like “doom and gloom” – but it actually represents, the Grace of God – to “return” back to the Purpose of Creation and the Reason for our Souls’ Existence!! Well…at least for another year…
Luke 13:6-9 (KJV)
He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone THIS YEAR ALSO, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
This means, that each year – we’re given, yet another opportunity to fulfill our purpose – and the reason for which we are here. Individually, it’s to make the most of ourselves; Collectively, it is to establish: “Heaven on Earth!”
Please, consider the following Letter from Rabbi Amichai Cohen
Yom Kippur marks the day of the receiving of the Second Tablets, which Moshe broke as a result of the sin of the golden calf. Yom Kippur is also the holiest day of the year in the Temple times, the High Priest would enter the Holy of Holies to atone for the entire collective assembly of Isreal and the world.
What we must remember is that life is filled with the breaking of the Tablets, which come as a result of chasing our golden calves. The breaking of the Tablets represents the mistakes/sins/hiccups/goofups etc. They are what makes a human.
When we “return,” we return to greater awakening and receive the Second Tablets. These Tablets are the sum of what was learned and deepened while wandering away from ourselves.
While we may not be the High Priest, we nevertheless affect the entire world. Our reorienting and returning to a greater expanded level directly affects the world around us.
We may be experiencing craziness outside of us. Much is too much to process. Undoubtedly, we are sure that as we enter deeper into the Holy of Holies found within, we can individually and collectively shine a new light on the world. That light is the light of Moshiach found within us and is so ready to be revealed within our existence.
🥰
Blessings for a meaningful and powerful Yom Kippur!
