Just Because You don’t See It…

According to 2 Kings 6:8-14, there was a period of time, that Israel and Syria were warring against one another. The Syrians would often attempt, to set-up ambushes upon Israel. However, all these military strategies would fail – because Elisha (the Prophet of Israel) would tell the King  – what areas to stay away from!

The King of Syria eventually became furious. He even accused his own people of sharing military secrets with the opposition…until he learned, that it was indeed Elisha who was protecting Gods’ people! As a result, of this treason – the King of Syria wanted Elisha dead!

Now, Elisha and his young disciple fled into a mountainous city called Dothan, but word got back to the King of Syria – and he immediately sent his best troops to that location. To catch Elisha, by surprise – the troops were sent out by night and then surrounded the city.

When Elishas’ disciple, woke up and went out, early the next morning – he only saw the Syrian Army – with horses and chariots all throughout the mountains. “Oh, my lord, what are we going to do?!” the disciple asked. “Don’t be afraid,” Elisha answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

2 Kings 6:17

Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, open his eyes so he may see.” Then the Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

I shared this story and scriptures with you, just to convey one principle point:

“Just because we don’t see [it], doesn’t mean [it] isn’t there!” ~Dwayne B. Neal

According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, when we SEE (experience) life, through our limited five senses – we’re only perceiving 1% of the truth. However, if we’re able to see beyond the limits of the 1% – we will and experience life from another perspective – a God perspective – a real, true and authentic perspective.

With that being said, we have only a few hours remaining in this week to SEE and experience Life, from “Gods’ point of view” – and tap into another reality.

Yes, we can tap into the “99% Reality” at any moment. Paradoxically, however, the Kabbalists also teach, that each measure of “time” (year, month, week, day, hour…etc.) Has a specific type of energy that comes along with it.

  • Genesis 1:14 (NIV) – And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years,
  • Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) – To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Subsequently, the energy and scripture reference for this week can be found in:

Deuteronomy 30:15 (KJV)SEE, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

Without getting into all that principles that this scripture conveys – it’s important to remember, that we’re either seeing (experiencing) the “good life” – that is set before us, or the “bad life” that is set before us. Think of our life experiences as a coin: we’re either seeing the heads (representing the good life and/or blessings) – or – we’re seeing the tails (representing the bad life and/or curses). Now, it’s very interesting to note, that just because we’re seeing only one side of the coin – doesn’t mean that the other side of the coin doesn’t exist.

That’s the power of this week! If we’re experiencing a contentious relationship – we get to see peace and harmony within this relationship; if we’re experiencing sickness and ill health – we get to see our healing; if we’re seeing overdrafts and negative account balances – we get to experience our prosperity!

Paradoxically, if we’re already seeing “the good life” – then we get the opportunity to see Satan. But not in a bad or negative sense…we get to see – when “he” (anthropomorphically speaking) attempts to ambush us – and thwart our Visions (pun intended) – and plans that God has prepared for us. With this seeing (knowing) – we can sidestep “his” booby traps – and continue with “the good life” experience.

1 Peter 5:8b (KJV) – because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

For us to see the true reality of our lives – and to access the remaining of this week’s energy; I suggest that we employ the use of the Hebrew Letters. Our eyes are the most advanced scanner and transmitters of spiritual energy for our Soul. The Hebrew letters work as barcodes of the spiritual energy – allowing us to access the positive aspect, of our internal Nature.

Scanning these sequences of letters with the intention of seeing “Gods’ Point of View” gives us the opportunity to make this connection.

NOG_69_1A
Think about the positive people, circumstances, events, and energy that you would like to see and experience today as you scan and meditate on these letters (scanning from ⬅ right to left)!

NOTE: You can also use this practice during LION’S ♌ GATE (8/8 – 8/12) – and ask to see what is your true purpose, what is important, and how you can better serve for the greatest and highest good!

To learn more about how you can use this tool – and many more like it, please visit: www.Kabbalah.com

Arise & Shine

The main reason, God woke you up this morning – was for you to honor “Him”. Paradoxically, we honor God – by making the most of ourselves. It is vital that we follow these 10 “rules” on a consistent, habitual and daily basis:

  • Wake up Early & Get Up On Time!
  • Always Give Thanks (First to God and then to Others)!
  • Arrive 15 Minutes Early to any scheduled appointment (i.e. job, meeting, date…etc.)
  • Consciously take Care of “Your” Body (which is God’s Temple): Exercise, Drink Plenty of Water, Eat Healthy Breakfast…etc.
  • Visualize and Meditate on Todays Successes
  • Take on the “Tough Challenges” First!
  • Make a conscious effort to laugh
  • Proactively share and give to others
  • Remain Focused!
  • Reinforce “your Light” through daily affirmations and making a habit of practicing the 9 aforementioned principles!

At first glance, these “things” may seem selfish or personal at best. However, if we take for instance: taking good care of your body – means that (1) you can better serve others when you – yourself is fit; and (2) (without being too judgy) people who DON’T take care of themselves are actually being selfish – because then they have to rely on your energy and light when their body begins to fail them.

Just something to consider!

Today’s Winning Affirmation: “I AM My Own Sacred Light! And I Honor the GOD that’s Within Me!”

Scripture(s) for Today:

  • Isaiah 60:1 (KJV) – Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
  • Matthew 5:16 (KJV) – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

See Yourself As GO[o]D Sees You: Know Your Worth!

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill.

In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this $20 bill?”

Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this $20 bill to one of you – but first, let me do this.”

He proceeded to crumple the 20 dollar note up. He then asked “who still wants it”?” Still, the hands were up in the air.

“Well,” he replied, “what if I do this?” He dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. “Now, who still wants it?”

Still, the hands went in the air.

“My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20!”

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless; but no matter what happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who love you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by… WHO WE ARE!! But, more so than that, paradoxically, the more we esteem God, the more we will value ourselves! Not just who we are – but rather who we are IN GOD!!

So for today let’s affirm as it says in Psalm 139:14 (the Complete Jewish Bible Version):

I thank you because I AM awesomely made, wonderfully; your works are wonders — I know this very well.

No More Excuses!

Excuses are the tools with which persons with no purpose in view build for themselves great monuments of nothing. ~Steven Grayhm

For many of us, there is always a “legitimate” reason for not doing this or accomplishing that. Or so, it seems. But the truth is, we really can BE, do and have anything that God desires for us {Psalm 37:4(NIV) – Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart} – that is if it wasn’t for… EXCUSES!

EXCUSES is just another way, of saying – ‘I AM putting limitations on myself’…and we know that whatever we say or think after the words I AM shapes our current reality. Our “reasons” (excuses) are not good enough. Sure, we can (and often do)come up with every “justification” (excuse) – as to why we wouldn’t or couldn’t do something – but sooner or later we’re going to run out of excuses! And then what?!

If we were truly honest with ourselves – then we will come to the understanding that perhaps the thing(s) we think we say we want — WE REALLY DON’T DESIRE IT! The fact of the matter is that even the word: CAN’T – comes from an inactive can. So in essence we can “do” it, but our State of Being says that we really don’t want to. In turn, we formulate reasons (excuses) in our own mind that agrees with our State of Being

  • “I don’t have enough money”
  • “I’m too old, young, fat, skinny, …etc.”
  • “They don’t like me”
  • “I don’t have enough time”

….and the list goes on and on!

We really can BE, do, and have anything – as long as we take ACTION! But here’s the caveat – our ACTION (or State of Being) MUST be in alignment with what God desires in and through us! And yet, here’s another even greater caveat – whatever (as long as it is true, honest..etc. see Philippians 4:8) it is that we desireis what God desires for us! How powerful is that?!

To think, say or perceive that we lack anything is an excuse and to deny the power of God that works in and through each and every one of us! So, for today let’s eliminate our excuses – by thinking not of every reason why we can’t BE, do, or have something…but rather, thinking of every reason why we can!

The bottom line is simply this: If we really wanted something bad enough, there’s nothing that can stop us from getting it!

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE:

  • Philippians 4:13 (KJV) – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Our Spiritual Bank of Plenty!

BOTUOn a spiritual level, the universe is a giant cosmic bank where we make withdrawals and deposits on a daily basis.

Our withdrawals include health, security, love, the breath that we take, even the fact that we can open our eyes in the morning!

We make deposits in the bank when we volunteer, help others, or do small kindnesses like saying hello to someone we don’t necessarily know well or even care about. Every day that we do actions of sharing beyond our comfort zone, or extend ourselves as a good friend, or pray not only for ourselves but for others as well, we are making a deposit into our cosmic bank account.

The cosmic bank is open 24/7, and our thoughts, words, and actions are constantly adding to or subtracting from our account. But we have to keep making deposits; we can’t rely on some good deed we did three years ago, hoping it will tide us over. Just as we need to eat every day, we need to share every day, too.

Today, take a moment to check the status of your account. Are you taking time every day to make a deposit?

ACTION IS BEING!

Featured Image -- 1331

BE-ING Is The Secret! It is not (at least not at first), about affirmations, visualizing or making mental movies on how you “wish” – your life is to be.

It may be a fact, that the Genie of The Universe, says to you, “Your WISH Is My Command!” – but it all starts with ACTION which is your state of BE-ING! First of all WISH as a verb (which denotes ACTION) is defined as: to express a strong hope, want or desire for something that is not easily attainable; it also means, to want something that cannot or probably will not happen!

By this definition alone, wish seems to contradicts the purpose for which Jesus came {John 10:10}I came that you might have life – and that more abundantly. Now, an abundant life is not physical or material possession – but in the natural ability (which is also Divine) to assume ANY state of BE-ING; and to assume that state…RIGHT NOW! Wishing and hoping, puts ACTION into a future state. But to assume [IT] now, is key. To defer our wish is to cause our BE~ING to suffer lost.{Proverbs 13:12}

“He is rich or poor according to what he is, not according to what he has.” ~Henry Ward Beecher

As long as we are wishing, hoping and dreaming – we remain in the ACTION of longing for [IT]! And G~D blesses the child that got his own (Billie Holiday) [or] for the sake of simplicity – a person that IS [IT] Now – is in ACTION! {Matthew 13:12}

In other words, instead of wishing for Happiness – BE HAPPY! Instead of going on diets and taking supplements – BE HEALTH! Stop trying to attract the ‘Love of Your Life’ – and BE LOVE; instead of getting rich – BE WEALTH (which also includes BE-ING rich)!

Now, please don’t get me wrong! I’m not suggesting that activities (because that’s really what DO-ING(s) are)such as the afore mentioned are not important because they most certainly are! But, what’s REALLY important is the ACTION (State of BE-ING) behind these activities. In {1 Timothy 4:8} it reads that: bodily exercise profiteth little… it didn’t say — that it doesn’t profit at all! Yes, Exercising, Affirmations, Visualizations…etc. all have some benefit – but the MAIN thing, must be kept the MAIN thing! And that MAIN thing is ACTION!

ACTION (which is the spiritual nature of BE-ING) not only causes physical activities and experiences – it also “needs to” BE expressed in physical activities and experiences! You and I are purposely designed to fulfill every spiritual intent. To allow the spirit of imagination into physical manifestation {John 1:14}. In this sense, ACTION is synonymous with THE WORD OF GOD! – and ACTION will not return void – but will accomplish that for which {IT} is sent – to express imagination (GOD) – into BE-ING!{Isaiah 55:11}

Five Lessons for Our Lives

ACTION IS KING!
MATTHEW 25:14-30

Here are five lessons the Parable of the Talents can teach us about work, success, and wealth:

1. First, this parable teaches us that success is a product of our work.

In the book of Genesis we see that God placed Adam in the garden to work it and take care of it. We were made to work. As Christians we have a mission that our Lord expects us to accomplish in the here and now.

Far too many evangelical Christians today see their salvation as simply a “bus ticket to heaven.” They believe it doesn’t matter what they do while they “wait for the bus.” The Parable of the Talents teaches us what we are supposed to do while we await the return of our King.

We are to work, using our talents to glorify God, serve the common good, and further God’s kingdom. Biblical success is working diligently in the here and now using all the talents God has given us to produce the return expected by the Master.

2. The Parable of the Talents teaches that God always gives us everything we need to do what he has called us to do.

Have you ever wondered what a talent is worth in today’s dollars? It is hard to know for sure, yet whatever its exact value, in the New Testament a talent indicates a large sum of money, maybe even as much as a million dollars in today’s currency.

We are tempted to feel sorry for the servant who received only one talent, but in reality he received as much as a million dollars from the master and buried it in his back yard. He was given more than enough to meet the master’s expectations.

Just as the master expected his servants to do more than passively preserve what has been entrusted to them, so God expects us to generate a return by using our talents towards productive ends. The servants were given enough to produce more – it is the same with the gifts God has given us. The Apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 2:10:

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

We seldom associate this verse with our work, but we should.

3. The Parable of the Talents teaches that we are not all created equal.

The most overlooked part of this parable is the second half of verse fifteen: the master gives to each servant talents, “…each according to his ability.” The master understood that the one-talent servant was not capable of producing as much as the five-talent servant.

We want to protest this as unfair. Yet we know this is true from our own experience. Diversity is woven into the fabric of creation.

But even though we’re not created equal in regard to the talents we’re given, there is equality found in the Parable of the Talents. It comes from the fact that it takes just as much work for the five-talent servant to produce five more talents as it does the two-talent servant to produce two more talents.

This is why the reward given by the master is the same. The master measures success by degrees of effort, as should we.

4. The Parable of the Talents teaches that we work for the Master, not our own selfish purposes.

The money that is given to the servants is not their own. The money they earn with the capital is not theirs to keep. The servants are only stewards of the master’s investment, and it is the quality of their stewardship that the master seeks to measure.

We should maximize the use of our talents not for our own selfish purposes, but to honor God. We know that we work in a fallen world. Because of the curse of sin, our work will be difficult. But we should feel satisfaction and joy from doing our best with what God has given us in the place where his providence puts us, seeking to succeed in order to honor him.

5. The Parable of the Talents shows that we will be held accountable.

The Parable of the Talents is not about salvation or works righteousness, but about how we use our work to fulfill our earthly callings. It is about whole-life stewardship, or “Stewardship with a capital ‘S‘.”

The unfaithful steward in this parable didn’t so much waste the master’s money – he wasted an opportunity. As a result, he was judged wicked and lazy. We are responsible for what we do for God with what we have been given, and one day we will be held responsible.

What we hear from the Master on that day is up to us.

How To Advance Your Definite Aim!

How to Develop a Definite Major Purpose
(from Think & Grow Rich, chapter on Autosuggestion)

Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once to put this plan into action. The instructions given in connection with the six steps in the chapter will now be summarized, and blended with the principles covered by this chapter, as follows:

Go into some quiet spot (preferable in bed at night where you will not be disturbed or interrupted, close your eyes, and repeat aloud (so you may hear your own words) the written statement of the amount of money you intend to accumulate, the time limit for its accumulation, and a description of the service or merchandise you intend to give in return for the money. As you carry out these instructions, see yourself already in possession of the money.

For example, suppose that you intend to accumulate $50,000 by the first of January, five years hence, that you intend to give personal services in return for the money, in the capacity of a salesman. Your written statement of your purpose should be similar to the following: By the first day of January, 20.., I will have in my possession $50,000, which will come to me in various amounts from time to time during the interim.

In return for this money I will give the most efficient service of which I am capable, rendering the fullest possible quantity, and the best possible quality of service in the capacity of salesman of _______________________________________ (describe the service or merchandise you intend to sell).

I believe that I will have this money in my possession. My faith is so strong that I can now see this money before my eyes. I can touch it with my hands. It is now awaiting transfer to me at the time and in the proportion that I deliver the service I intend to render in return for it. I am awaiting a plan by which to accumulate this money, and I will follow that plan, when it is received.

Repeat this program night and morning until you can see (in your imagination) the money you intend to accumulate.

Place a written copy of your statement where you can see it night and morning, and read it just before retiring, and upon arising until it has been memorized. Remember, as you carry out these instructions, that you are applying the principle of autosuggestion for the purpose of giving orders to your subconscious mind.

Remember also that your subconscious mind will act only upon instructions which are emotionalized and handed over to it with “feeling.” Faith is the strongest and most productive of the emotions.

…then it’s probably God!

If It Sounds To Good To Be True…

(then It’s probably God!)

With God_PossibleI know that you’ve heard the old saying that ‘if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is’. People usually say this when presented with an opportunity that is beyond their wildest dreams or expectations. This is especially true, when we’re confronted with MLM’s or home-based business opportunities.

Many of us have a built-in automatic negative mindset trigger! This attitude allows us to pass over opportunity, after opportunity – forgetting all the while:

  • that with God ALL things are possible! {Matthew 19:26 / Mark 10:27}
  • That God has the ability to do above anything that we can ask or think! {Ephesians 3:20-21}
  • That God has, is, and will forever be working on our behalf! {Romans 8:31}
  • God will ALWAYS have our BEST interest at heart {Jeremiah 29:11}

The sad part is, we hardly ever investigate or do our due diligence on what’s being presented to us. We automatically assume that since it sounds that ‘good’ – then it must be a scam, pyramid scheme, or fraud…right? Yes, I do understand, that there are plenty of less unsavory people out there; who’s only interest is to take advantage of you – and  make you vulnerable in the name of profits (if you let them, or better yet…if God let’s them!). {Matthew 7:15}

However, my problem is we often (and very easily I might add) – “miss” our blessings, because we don’t follow these instructions:

  • Make A List: First write down the priorities you believe God would have in your situation. Again, “…God would have in your…”. These are not the things that are important to you, but rather the things that are most important to God! Ask questions like: Will the outcome of my decision draw me closer to God? Will this opportunity Glorify God? How will it impact those around me?
  •  Seek God for Advice: Acknowledging God implies that we first ascertain whether what we’re about to take on is in accordance with His will and plan for our lives. This may even include seeking counsel from a spiritually mature person (i.e. Pastor, Elder, Parent..etc.).

Proverbs 3:6 – In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 15:22 – Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established.

Proverbs 16:3 – Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

  • Be Willing to Accept and Obey Gods’ Answer: It is absolutely essential that you and I humbly and fully submit to the Word of God during this process.

John 15:14 – If you love me, you will keep my commandments. (Jesus speaking)

  • Take ACTION on “our” Decision: If we have arrived at our decision with the sincere intention of pleasing the heart of God, incorporating biblical principles and wise counsel, we can then proceed with confidence knowing that God will work out his purposes through our decisions.

Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

So, you see everything may not too good to be true; especially when you acknowledge God!! The next time some presents you with an opportunity (especially if you prayed about [it]) – please don’t limit yourself, by thinking that it’s out of your realm of possibility.

From this point on, instead of saying, “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”…continue to say, “if it sounds too good to be true, then it’s probably God!”
