Why Don’t We Say This Ourselves?!

If Faith is the substance and evidence of the things that we hope to have, and desire to become (and it is) {Hebrews 11:1}; And if Faith Comes by what Hear (and it does) {Romans 10:17} ….then wouldn’t it make “common sense”, for us to speak to ourselves Faithful words of self-empowerment, hope, encouragement, and Love ❤?!! I mean that only makes sense….Right?!

I do, however, understand, that paradoxically commons sense, ain’t COMMON! (With all things being consistent) Our ONLY drawback in life – is that we don’t speak – from “ourselves” (from the God within) – to ourselves (to the human part of us).  Do we not know – or have we forgotten: THAT GOD IS WITHIN US?!!! {1 Corinthians 3:16} 

By speaking from ourselves – TO – ourselves (using the power of the I AM) – we activate the nature of God within us. With God on our side – Any and Everything is possible. However, it is our duty and job to induce GOD into ACTION, and we do so by calling on “Him”! 

REMEMBER: Within you is the power to motivate yourself !!! 💯 You are the Captain of Your own Ship….So Forget What Others Are Saying About You — WHAT ARE YOU TELLING YOURSELF?!! {1 John 4:4} 🔑🔑

I AM WORTHY!

Fighting for your dreams isn’t always easy – but it’s worth it – and so are you!! Yes, You Deserve “The Best” (whatever that means to you)! Whatever our definition of The Best is – the Universe offers it and we must BE Worthy enough to receive it!!

GOD is ALREADY aware of our worth – which is why “He” gave us these desires in the first place. {Psalm 37:4} It is ALWAYS GO(o)D Wisdom to remind ourselves, that we are worthy of the things – that we desire most in life.

Especially when our dreams, goals, desires, needs or wants seem impossible; and hard to come by. It is during those times that we must FIGHT FOR OUR DREAMS!!  Remember:  YOU ARE WORTHY!! And in the good fight of fight – there will be times that we – are required to fight – even though our best desires are ALREADY ours. Sounds like a contradiction but it’s not.  Life is a paradox; and when we put of fight – God “begins to fight for us” (for lack of a better term).  {Exodus 14:14 / 2 Chronicles 20:17}

The whole wisdom  🔑🔑 is this: Never settle for nothing less, count yourself out or play yourself small – and be willing to fight for what – you’re Worthy For!!! NOTE: This doesn’t prove anything to God – only Yourself!!!

I AM Purpose!

Purpose is our DNA. In other words, Purpose – like ACTION – is a predetermined manifested state. For example, you don’t purposely do stuff, so that you would be human – BEING human is who you are – it is ALREADY in the creation genetic code that God would make you after “His” image.

So why do we constantly do stuff, to validate our “purpose” or seek out reason(s) for BEING here?! The simple answer is: because we don’t know who we are, or better yet, whose we are. Again, we are purposes of God…Specifically and purposely designed, to carry out the Will of God in our lives.

If we truly desire to ‘find our purpose’ (for lack of a better term) – then we must first discover who we are – and then we will discover our purpose. And here’s a hint: Our Whole Life Expression and Purpose for Living is:  To Give God Glory (or better said, to Give God back the Glory that “He” has given us)!!! That’s All!!

Anything, other than – Giving God Glory – is not who you are; nor were you “meant” or “purposed” to become! We in our very essence: ARE THE GLORY OF (unto) GOD!

Ecclesiastes 3:1 – surmises that there is a time for EVERY Purpose under Heaven – and – it is YOU that is that Purpose!!! Quick Question: Is It Your Time?! Only YOU can answer that question; and you do so by the way – in which you “choose” to live your life.

Now, it’s time to turn this knowledge – into ACTION (living wisdom) – by living life as a Purpose; and BEing that which we ALREADY are: The Glory of God!

Let The Weak Say…I AM

Dr. Stephen Covey in his best-selling ‘self-help’ book: Seven Habits of Highly Effective People reminds us that “in effective personal leadership visualization and affirmation techniques emerge naturally out of a foundation of well thought through purposes and principles that become the center of a person’s life.” 

In other words, to be an effective leader, you must align your life according to what you are seeing and saying. Now don’t get caught up in the word ‘leader’; as much as in the principle I wish to convey….and that is this: our prayers, intentions, visualizations and ‘affirmations’ should ALWAYS affirm the positive; because the positive is ALWAYS highly effective.

This is especially true when we use the phrase I AM in front of our declarations and speech. You may not realize how much your current situation is influenced by I AM. You see, I AM is a “name” of GOD, and actually sets in motion the energies of those statements that come after it.

For instance, every time you say, “I AM broke,” “I AM overweight,” “I AM sorry,” “I AM weak”…etc. You are inviting negative situations and booby traps that can undermine your success. Now, do I really believe, that what you say can negate what GOD has already done in, through and for you?…ABSOLUTELY NOT!! We don’t posses that ‘kind’ of power; However, we do summon the energy of “things” and “situations” when we use “the name of GOD”. 

You see, every time we not only verbalize, but even think, “I AM______”, what we are really saying and thinking is, “GOD in me is (whatever it is we’re thinking or saying).” Again, and this is worth repeating, I AM affirmations uses one of the names of GOD; and when an individual uses it, he/she is accessing spiritual power. 

“I AM” comes from “I AM THAT I AM,” the name of GOD revealed to Moses at ‘The Burning Bush’, and GOD also ‘said’, “This is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto ALL generations.” {Exodus 3:15}. And like Moses, when you come to a place when you recognize that YOU ARE GOD IN ACTION…and that GOD is flowing through you at this very moment, you will sense the presence of GOD with reverence and awe! In effect, as GOD is in heaven, so is GOD on earth – within YOU! RIGHT NOW!!

That’s why we are instructed in Joel 3:10b, to let the weak say I AM strong; because you are already GODS’ energy…but what ACTION will you do with the energy of GOD?! Will you use GODS’ light and energy to reinforce the negative side of life..”I AM weak”? Or will you use it to affirm something real, and positive…”I AM strong?”

By doing(saying) the latter, you set the ACTION of GOD motion to show “Himself” to be strong in and through YOU!! In other words, according to Pastor Silas Banks, “GOD doesn’t give us trails to make us strong, but to show us how strong we already are!” 

So, let the poor say, “I AM wealthy!”…Let the sick say, “I AM healed!”…and let the weak say, I AM strong!”
