I AM Purpose!

Purpose is our DNA. In other words, Purpose – like ACTION – is a predetermined manifested state. For example, you don’t purposely do stuff, so that you would be human – BEING human is who you are – it is ALREADY in the creation genetic code that God would make you after “His” image.

So why do we constantly do stuff, to validate our “purpose” or seek out reason(s) for BEING here?! The simple answer is: because we don’t know who we are, or better yet, whose we are. Again, we are purposes of God…Specifically and purposely designed, to carry out the Will of God in our lives.

If we truly desire to ‘find our purpose’ (for lack of a better term) – then we must first discover who we are – and then we will discover our purpose. And here’s a hint: Our Whole Life Expression and Purpose for Living is:  To Give God Glory (or better said, to Give God back the Glory that “He” has given us)!!! That’s All!!

Anything, other than – Giving God Glory – is not who you are; nor were you “meant” or “purposed” to become! We in our very essence: ARE THE GLORY OF (unto) GOD!

Ecclesiastes 3:1 – surmises that there is a time for EVERY Purpose under Heaven – and – it is YOU that is that Purpose!!! Quick Question: Is It Your Time?! Only YOU can answer that question; and you do so by the way – in which you “choose” to live your life.

Now, it’s time to turn this knowledge – into ACTION (living wisdom) – by living life as a Purpose; and BEing that which we ALREADY are: The Glory of God!

…Giving praise, thanksgiving and worship are vital tools for BEING in the Presence of God; and another tool is the activity of sharing. But before I delve in the practice of sharing – allow me to back track and explain the concept of “throwing and waving our hands in the air”. 

Since ACTION is a state of BEING, then true Praise and Worship is to inject consciousness in our physical gestures of appreciation. {John 4:24} In other words, just because we are “….waving our hands in the air” and singing along with the choir director – doesn’t mean we are actually praising God! 

If we would revisit the Genesis scenario for a moment(what was discussed in the previous blog entry), we would see that the real purpose of Praise is to “remain in the Presence (aka Goodness) of God”! Paradoxically, if our consciousness is one of thanking God for allowing us to see our negativity – then our ACTION is then in real Worship. For the simple fact that Praise and Worship is a tool to REVEAL the Light of God – not as a mechanism to cover or hide ourselves from “Him”(?).  In layman’s terms – the more Light there is – the more we will see – and this will include our negative stuff as well!

So in this sense “throwing and waving our hands(along with our hearts) in the air” we are doing two things: 

1. Sending out a distress signal {2 Chronicles 16:9}. Like a stranded motorists or someone lost at sea. 
2. We the access the Power of God in a very real way; and that is to rid ourselves of whatever “negative” stuff that is preventing us from BEING in the Presence of God! {Exodus 33:14 / Psalms 37:3-4 / Matthew 5:8}

Again, as I mentioned in the last blog entry – it’s not like God doesn’t already know who we really are – even when we attempt to hide ourselves. {Psalm 100:3} As we travel through this life, our job is rid ourselves of the many layers of coverings, so that we can expose more of God’s Light. And another tool we can use to do this is to share with others.  

The more acts of sharing we exercise – the more the Presence of God will reveal our garbage. For instance, let’s say that we give a friend a gift – but that friend (per our EGO and our definition) doesn’t return this gesture with appreciation. What happens, to us when this situation plays out: Do we become angry, feel unappreciated, feel used….etc? Whatever, our “negative” reaction is in this example, that is Presence of God shinning Light on our garbage. Spirituality is not trying to hide or repress “negative” symptoms – but to expose the cause (which is ALWAYS our very own EGO)! The more we do this – the more we reside in God’s Presence. 

So, there you have it! The Secret to Life! Praise God and Share with others! Can it really be that simple?! Yes it can; and it is! We make life complicated, when we see our flaws, negativity, limitations…etc. and instead of allowing our Light to Shine (through the actions of Praise and Sharing) – we work against the natural order of the Universe and try to cover up our Light that is reflection from BEING in the Presence of God!

Throw Yo’ Hands Da The Air – And Wave ‘Em Like You Just Don’t Care…is not just a directive while you’re at the club or concert (if they even say this anymore lol) but – it is the ACTION of Life! Just remember to Praise God and Share With Others and your life experience will be like one big party!!

Throw Yo’ Hands In The Air! And Wave ‘Em….(part 1)

As in Genesis – when Adam and Eve “hid” themselves in the Garden of Eden – we today, on some level often attempt to hide our human short comings from the Light of God! However, if we would only realize that the more we expose ourselves to the Light of God – the more we will remain in the Presence of God! Within the Presence of God is everything we need to experience lasting and true fulfillment. {James 1:17}

Also, in Genesis – we find where God asks the question: “Where are you?” {Genesis 3:9}…and today “He” is still asking that same question when it comes to us! {2 Chronicles 16:9a} Now, God isn’t seeking out who we are in personality, but in Spirit. Again, knowing that in the Light and Presence of God is the fullness of joy – why is it that we hide our real selves from “His” Presence…when God “desires”(I say this as a man) to rid us of those short comings that seem to separate us from “Him”?! That is a great question – which I don’t have a ready answer for. For one, it’s not that God doesn’t already know who we are. For some reason we actually think that we can actually hide from the Light of God (lol)!! 🙂  {Psalm 139:8}

And, like Adam we also are constantly saying, “I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.” What we are actually saying is, “because, I saw that YOU didn’t give me any external covering – I provided it myself!” How ignorant can we be?!

Instead of hiding who we really are, we should celebrate ourselves and the life that God has given us! All activities of lying and deceit (especially, as it relates to ourselves) – are coverings that we use to hide the real us. And it most often stems from BEING ashamed. People is ok to BE Human, and we need not be ashamed, afraid, or discouraged…or inadequate…or whatever it is that we feel the need to cover ourselves! Let me remind you, as it says in Psalm 139:14(KJV) I will praise thee; for I AM fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well!

If we would only wave our hands in the air (along with raising our hearts) – and praise God for being fearfully and wonderfully made – instead of hiding; then will remain in “His” Presence! Knowing that in Presence of God lies all of the Promises of God!! But, attempt to hide we not only deceive our own selves, but hiding also keeps us from seeing all the promises that are already made available to us.

I’ve already given you one secret to remaining in God’s Presence; in my next blog entry I will share with you another powerful yet simple tool to BE “seen” by God!

Started From The Bottom; Now We’re Here!

Sometimes we must go through the valley in order to climb to the top of the mountain. Figuratively speaking, the valley represents the beginning of thing or the start of a situation. While the top of mountain represents the achievement of that thing. Between these two representations, we often find obstacles, times of adversity, and difficulty. It is during these times, that we MUST keep in mind: That the END of a thing is always better than the beginning. {Ecclesiastes 7:8} I do realize that this is easier said than done. 

But, here’s a little trick: Even before we start – we should begin with the end already in mind! In that way, we will realize that every obstacle, and adversity means that we are actually MOVING through the valley…and the more obstacles we face…the more we are MOVING up the mountain! In this sense, adversities are equal to purposeful movement. And as long as we are committed to end goal already in mind, we will make it to the top! 

Then we can say, in the words of Drake “Started From The Bottom, Now We’re Here…”!

Coming Back From A Set Back

“Do not ask for an easy life, ask for the strength to endure the hard one.” ~Bruce Lee 

Endurance is the power to withstand something challenging. The noun endurance contains endure means “suffer or undergo” and the suffix -ance means “the state of…”or what I define as “State of Being” – otherwise referred to as ACTION. Endurance can also be used to describe the physical strength to keep going; as in a running a marathon but it can also be used when discussing an exhausting spiritual situation, mental strain or a stressful time.

The energy to bounce back from heartbreaks, disappointments, and financial difficulties is Endurance in Action. As long we remind ourselves (and we might to do this often) – that the END (which is another root word of endurance) ALWAYS justifies the means!{Ecclesiastes 7:8} 

So, in this sense Endurance – is the state of BEing resolute – fully knowing that as long as we have breath in bodies we can and will overcome any thing that seems to set us back. That no matter how many times we fall, that if we just get up – then Life will reward us in the end. And if you have yet received your desired reward – then it’s not the END…urance!

NEW BEGINNINGS: WHO WE ARE & WHO WE ARE PREDETERMINED TO BE

New beginnings are often only thought of at the New Year. Kabbalistically speaking, this time of year known as Rosh Hashanah – is where we have the opportunity for a “new beginning”. But, “why do new beginnings even exist?”, you might ask. They exist because the new beginning is comparable to a breath of fresh air. It is GOD rebooting our system, so that we can continue on with “His” predestined plan for our lives. 

Life in ACTION is one continuous breath. It is the inhale and the exhale of our lives. We breathe, we live, and during the process we get to experience the gift of Life! {Acts 17:28a For in him we live, and move, and have our being;} As we continue to experience life – events begin to shape in what we define as “big” and “small” ways. We do not realize, however, that the air around us has become stagnant. Through the course of everyday living and mundane activities, the surrounding potential (our aura) appears to be aimless and meanigless.

Erroneously, we often see major life events as a new beginnings, because they affect us in “big” ways. Like graduating school, promotion on the job, getting a new job, marriage, having kids…etc. However, events and experiences are simply the shifting and movment of energy (time and season) – and are already predetermined by God. The only seem big to us (simply because we defined them as such) – buy, not to God! What we deem to be “small” ways – are actually activities that are continously unfolding, as an ACTION, just as the major life events.

To say it simply, “New Beginnings” is anytime we allow the fresh breath of God to move in and through our BEING! {Genesis 2:7 (KJV) And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul}. This like hitting the reset button on the forces of creation; bringing us in alignment with Gods’ “original intent” (for lack of a better term), for our lives. This fresh breath moves stagnation out and the ACTION of God within.

In Ecclesiastes 3:1 we find these words: {To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:} And if you will receive it…this season in particular, is all about repentance, renewal and receiving complete restoration.

By actively participating in this season, we wil come into the awareness that energy shifts are happening all the time, regardless of how subtle. This is the real meaning of ACTION! Yes, God is moving on our behalf right now! But, because of our limited potential, we often see “things, situations and events” as somthing outside of us, something that is surrounding us – and not something that we actually experience. Although, in truth, with every breath – WE ARE!!

If we can just be present in this season (in fact in every moment); we can and will transform the ‘surrounding Light’ of potential into an ‘inner Light’ of experience {1 Corinthians 15:52 (KJV) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:… we shall be changed}. We shouldn’t have to wait for the calander to change for us to change – and we have the spiritual power to do this – at any given moment in time!!

Unfortuantely, as previously stated – we don’t readily recogize this opportunity. So, God in “His” Divine Wisdom set aside this season (beforehand) as a “new beginning” to allow our potential to unfold. In this season, we can step out of our old ways and open the door to new possibilities. We can put the past behind us and find excitement for a brighter future. This particular breath of God will invigorate us and give us the Divine energy to restore meaning and purpose in our lives.

So, armed with this knowledge let us take full advantage of this “new beginning” so we can enrich our lives and ensure that the direction we are heading is one promise, power, and unlimited fulfillment!!

The Law of Detachment (part 2)

…..[continued]

This may contradict what you believe. The Law of Detachment often seems to go against the grain of what we’ve been taught as the “normal” process – for manifesting what we “think” we want in our lives.

The Law of Detachment is first of all – accepting your current circumstance, experience and situation as it is (not as you desire it to be) – and secondly, it is about letting go or detaching yourself (your BEING) – from the thing(s) that you desire. The Elders used to say “Let Go – and – Let God!” {see Luke 22:42}

“It is not the thing(s) we think we want – it’s the ACTION we expect to experience, once those things are revealed!”~Dwayne B. Neal

Today, I would like to share with you a simple and effective technique in using the Law of Detachment. This was shared with me a few years ago by Doreen Banaszak (Author of Excuse Me, Your Life Is Now). And here it is…first of all get in touch with your ACTION (current state of BEING) – by bringing your attention to your thoughts and feelings – RIGHT NOW! In other words – What are you thinking right now?— how are you feeling, right now? It doesn’t matter – because next all you have to do is say: 

I ACCEPT THAT I AM EXPERIENCING WHATEVER YOU’RE THINKING OR FEELING RIGHT NOW (AND THAT’S OKAY)…I AM WILLING TO CONSIDER THAT I DON’T NEED THE THING(S) THAT I DESIRE, IN ORDER TO EXPERIENCE CHOOSE ANY STATE OF BEING: HAPPINESS, ABUNDANCE, YOUTH, HEALTH…etc. – RIGHT NOW!

Now, granted there’s more to the concept of Acceptance and Detachment – then by just saying this simple phrase – but, I really, don’t have the space to go into the intricacies here…but if you would like, you can email me or visit her website at DoreenBanaszak.com   for more details.

You say the words “….I Am Experiencing….” because, you are not your thoughts or feelings. You are a BEING (A Word of God In Action) – that experience thoughts and feelings. In other words –  thoughts and feelings are instruments of BEING – and BEING is ACTION! When we say “I AM this or that“ – then we become or assume that experience in our lives.

However, the more we detach our BEING (ACTION) from these components  – the more we become or assume the state of BEING of the Observer; and are not influenced by the “false” persuasions of our thoughts and feelings. Furthermore, we are not locked in to the misconception that our desires HAVE TO come in a certain way!

Without exercising this simple technique – the thing(s) that we want to manifest – actually becomes the controlling factor. And when those things control us – we limit ourselves to ONLY that particular or certain outcome as being the ONLY possibility for us. IT’S NO WONDER WE DON’T MANIFEST OUR DESIRES!

It’s a fact – things don’t always manifest in the way that we expect them to. But, if and when we release those desires to God and let go of their control and attachment – we allow our desires (which has now become Gods’ desire) to manifest in the best way possible(not the only way) for us!{see Isaiah 55:8 / Ephesians 3:20 / Psalm 55:22} The ends always justifies the means.

So, as we go throughout our day – let us put into practice the Law of Detachment – knowing that the thing(s) we desire (or even something better) is coming our way. Why Is That? BECAUSE, GOD HAS ALREADY DONE [IT]! We just have to allow [IT]!

So…LET GO AND LET GOD!!

The Law of Detachment

Like many of us, I’m sure that you’ve heard of the Law of Attraction. But another very powerful (and often overlooked) universal law is – the Law of Detachment. The Law of Detachment, is acceptance without surrendering; it doesn’t mean giving up – is simply means that we, accept things exactly as they are – without adding judgment to it. A thing is not good or bad – it is just the way it is! The bottom line is this: if you don’t accept it – you cannot change it!

The only requirement of this Law is in releasing the outcome to the perfect flow of God. Knowing that the end, justifies the means.  

When you and I become riddled with anxiety, worry, and judgment – we are giving a signal to the universe within, that we do not already have [it] – whatever, [it] is. Thoughts and feelings of “needing it now” counteract our well-intended desires.

Jesus said, I will give you the keys to the kingdom.{Matthew 16:19} The keys to the kingdom, is the evolution of your soul, not the involvement of your human body. Most people think that the Law of Attraction, is about getting stuff…and then getting more stuff!

This delusion is the main reason, why people fail to realize, first of all what they really want – and secondly the revealing of the things (that they say), they want.

The Law of Detachment however, allows us to trust that God and the universe has first of all already given us our desires – and secondly works through us, so that everything will fall into place.

We are always trying to vibrate, say affirmations, visualize, do EFTs, pray… etc. when our only job is to let our request be known, and keep the faith while letting go of the outcome.

When we worry – it means that we are focusing on what we don’t want.{Job 3:25} It means that you don’t know that God has already given you every good thing that pertains to life.{2 Peter 1:3} Let me make one thing perfectly clear: just because you don’t see [it], doesn’t mean [it] isn’t there! This is where faith in your God-given vision comes in.

Have you ever noticed that the harder you try to make something work the more frustrating you become? You work harder and harder, yet no progress is made. Deceiving yourself into thinking that you’re taking ACTION.{Jeremiah 17:9 / James 1:22 / 1 Corinthians 3:18} Again, ACTION is the evolution of BEING not the involvements of DOING. Only when you and I let it go, detach ourselves from the situation and move onto something else – is when we usually get [it]! Why is that?

The best way to explain the Law of Detachment is to imagine and choosing to manifest something that you absolutely don’t need. Why do I say this? Because in essence, you and I really don’t need anything – we already have [it]!

It is in this knowing, that we begin to relax, and move on to the next chapter of our lives. If we would only move out of our own way, and allow God “to take” ACTION in and through us – then master the art of remaining in the infinite present – because in truth all that really exist is – NOW!

….in my next injection – I will share a simple technique that will allow us to abide in the Law of Detachment.

YOU Are The Life of Your Body!

When we arrived on this planet- we were “stripped” (for lack of a better term) of Divinity…and were “allowed” to be aware of others {beginning with your parent(s)} – forgetting our true selves! This awareness of “self” is based on how others interact with you! Also known as Ego – it is the reflection of what others think about and how they treat you. However, your own self-awareness is based on your perception of the way others treat you; but is not really YOU at all!

The Ego dresses up in many disguises, often making us think that it is the “REAL” us – but the essence of our BE~ING lies in the Spirit (or the world of ACTION). The real YOU is the breath of Life; and YOU became a LIVING Soul {see Genesis 2:7 / John 20:22}.

Genesis 2:7 tells us that man  BECAME a living soul (KJV). The word soul in Hebrew is nephesh, meaning “an animated, breathing, conscious, and living being.”  The ACTION of the breath of God caused Man to become a physical, animate, thinking and spiritual BEING. Again you and I did not become living souls until God breathed life into the “formed” substance.

So, what is the breath of God? The breath of God is the life and power of God, given to man to animate him. The Hebrew word for spirit is ruach, which means “wind, breath, movement of air, and spirit in ACTION.” The life of God lives in and through YOU; because of “HIS” breath, the Body of Man lives on – because of the Body of Man the ACTION of God (continuation of breathing) lives on – through YOU!

So what does this all mean – for YOU? YOUR BODY IS NOT YOU!! It is only a container for the breath of God! Through the course of this thing called life – we gradually, became aware of the Divine Action within ourselves. But because we have the power and life of God within – we also have the power and life to BECOME aware of this Divinity within — RIGHT NOW!! {1 Corinthians 15:52} At the very moment you receive the breath of life – YOU – become a new creation!! Every moment creates a unique and divine opportunity for you to express Divinity in ACTION through your human body! {2 Corinthians 4:7}

So, Live, Love, Learn, and Grow…and Experience Life with each ventilating God inspired – breath!!

The Secret 3-Step Process (part 2)

“Believing and being are one. The conceiver and his conception are one. In my last post I briefly discussed my secret formula for the manifestation process. And if you read it – you might be thinking to yourself – that ASSUME is inferior to BELIEF. Allow me to clarify what I mean. You see, ASSUME is the root word of ASSUMPTION – and this not just your typical supposing, speculating or taking something for granted (because we know what happens when we ASS-U-ME {lol}). It goes beyond that.

Assumption is the Law of BE~ING! And in ACTION it means to appropriate FAITH as to become one with your desire! As co-creators, whether consciously or unconsciously – are constantly using the Spirit of God. You see, the Spirit of God is an ACTION that is manifested into our world via our imagination. In other words, thoughts don’t become things – THOUGHTS ARE THINGS! And you and become the very thing that we imagine. In the world of ACTION there is no separation between – BEING (YOU in your essence) and Imagination.  Now once we take on the role or ASSUME the Spirit behind the thought or imagination – that thought or imagination then is clothed as our life experiences, circumstances and events.

Simply put, you and your desire(s) are one.  You may be wondering, why is it that I don’t get my desires?    Or I prayed, visualized, said affirmations, asked, believed….but; I haven’t received…why is that? Because, we do not ASSUME! Assumption is the missing piece. As long as we continue to relate to G~D as an external Father (and not the indwelling Spirit) – we alienate ourselves from ASSUMING our responsibility to Co-Partner with G~D in the manifestation process.

What do I mean? As long we continue to ASSUME that the Father (GOD) will take care of everything; then we abandon our role in appropriating the FAITH needed to manifest our desires.  Assumption means imagining Co-Partnering with the God of Universe to bring about a desired end. Can you imagine that?!

Assume that not only are you and God are one –but that you and your desires are one with God! Appropriating FAITH (to rely on by an inward certainty) – in this Assumption means, to consciously bring yourself, to state of BEING that which God desires to experience, in and through you! It’s really not complicated – the fact that you have the desire – means that God desires to experience that desire it in your BEING!

Take a good look at the life around you. What are your intentions? What are your desires? Assumption is done when our “human” (Divine) faculties of imagination express the feelings of experiencing – right now -the fulfillment of our desires – regardless of or contrary to what you BELIEVE or see on the outside. What you believe and see, may reveal a fact in your life; but that is not the TRUTH concerning you. {Jeremiah 29:11}

This is why the spiritual tools of Praise and Gratitude are soooo important. The ACTION of Gratitude brings our focus, attention and intention (i.e. the Spirit of God) into the present – empowering our lives with many benefits and blessings.

Let the others continue to ask, believe, and receive – but you know better – and once you know better you do better – all you have to do is assume, have faith, and praise!
