It has been said – and you may have heard it – in order to have your wishes and desires granted, all you have to do is:
ASK…BELIVE…AND RECEIVE!
This incomplete information, is perhaps based on the Mark 11:24 scripture. Incomplete, in that, it doesn’t take into account the 4 preceding versus – nor, the one immediately following it. Before I get into my analysis of this process; please, allow me to give my “Secret Formula” to manifesting our desires (notice I used the word manifesting, because you and I REVEAL life experiences – and not ATTRACT them) – And it is this:
ASSUME….FAITH….AND PRAISE!
Now, let’s take the concepts of ASK and ASSUME. First of all, who are you ASKING? Secondly, what are you ASKING for?! If we are to ASK for anything, it is “what is the will of God in this situation?” James 1:5 says, that if ANY man lacks wisdom let him ask; and we know that the wisdom of God far surpasses our human understanding in any given matter{1 Corinthians 1:25}. For example, let’s say that we ASK for a particular job with good benefits…God may have a better paying job, with greater benefits closer to your home…but, no – you want to ask for that particular job. For me, ASKING is to petition something or someone outside of ourselves.
In ACTION, you will come to know that GOD DWELLS WITHIN YOU! And you need not ASK but to ASSUME. Like a character in a film, you just take upon the role of whatever you desire TO BE and ASSUME it to very best of your God-given ability!
This takes out the BELIVE factor. Can you imagine GOD (the Supreme orchestrator of our lives); “DO~ING” something for us, based on our belief?! LOL!! Please, give me a break! If we were, truthful -we really don’t believe with 100% certainty, anyway…and here’s lies the word – MIRACLE! If we really, truly believed — then word MIRACLE would cease to exist in our vocabulary. We really don’t believe that we can walk on water {Matthew 14:22-33}, or toss mountains into seas by our mere words {Mark 11:23}…etc., do we?! But, if we have total and complete reliance upon God – FAITH – then what we believe don’t matter, because the ASSUMPTION of Power, is not based on belief – but in KNOWING!!
Sense you want to take just one verse of scripture, and take it out of context; then please allow me to do the same! In the King James Version of Hebrews 11:6 it reads… But without FAITH (Reliance on God) it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must BELIEVE that he is, ….now let’s stop right here for a moment. This is not saying, we must BELIEVE that there is a God, or that God exists (but, if you would receive it), it is saying exactly what it says – He that comes to God, MUST BELIEVE that HE IS [GOD]!! Do you not know, that YOU ARE GOD IN ACTION??!! As God in Action, we are free to ASSUME any state of BEING! Hebrews 11:6 KJV goes on to say…and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Or to put it another way – you and I are rewarded when we diligently play our role, when we ASSUME our BE-ING. This is done by relying upon an inward certainty – not an outward ASKING!
The best role that we can ASSUME in life is that of a PRAISER! We PRAISE God, simply because our desires are God desires (unless we resist it by our constant asking {Matthew 6:7} ); “HE(?)” (anthropomorphically speaking) has already provided (before we ASK or Think {see Isaiah 65:24/Matthew 6:8}) and cannot deny “Himself” of the desire, and will perform in and through you as an outward manifestation – aka ACTION!{2 Timothy 2:13}
